EFFORTLESS ACCESS

An extra wide side door ensures passengers and their luggage will always be able to get into the Minibus with ease. To make access even more convenient, the door can be opened and closed with the push of a button.

LONG ANTI-PERFORATION WARRANTY

As a measure of its build quality, the Transit Minibus comes with a 12-year anti-perforation  warranty as standard. This covers your vehicle’s original bodywork from perforation damage caused by rust corrosion.

Still, like every vehicle, it needs regular servicing. Our commercial vehicle service promise, Ford Service Pro, is designed to minimise downtime, inconvenience and expense. It’s available through our nationwide network of Transit Centres and Transit Service dealers. Find out more about Ford Service Pro.

ENGINES & TRANSMISSIONS

THE POWER OF CHOICE

Featuring a range of advanced 2.0-litre Ford EcoBlue diesel engines, the Transit Minibus is more powerful and more efficient than ever. Whichever you choose, every engine meets the stringent Euro HDT6.0 emissions standards too.

DRIVING EXPERIENCE

TECHNOLOGY THAT SEES WHAT YOU CAN’T

The Blind Spot Information System uses RADAR sensors to see vehicles that may be hidden in your blind spot. When a vehicle enters your blind spot, the system alerts you with an orange light, clearly displayed in the side door mirror. Cross Traffic Alert works with Blind Spot Information System and alerts you to oncoming vehicles when you’re reversing out of a space and have limited visibility. (Option)

SPOTS THE VEHICLES YOU MIGHT MISS

Cross Traffic Alert is part of the Blind Spot Information System. When you’re reversing out of a space and have limited visibility of the traffic situation, Cross Traffic Alert can detect oncoming vehicles and sound a warning. The technology illuminates a light in the wing mirror too (left or right depending on the direction of oncoming traffic), as well as displaying a warning on the multi-functional display. (Option)

ADAPT TO THE CONDITIONS

Selectable Drive Modes allows you to tailor your Transit Minibus’s performance by choosing from two available drive modes: Normal and for maximum efficiency, EcoMode. The system adjusts various settings to optimise performance for the conditions. These include throttle response and steering feel, as well as gear-change behaviour on vehicles with automatic transmission.

SIDE WIND STABILISATION

Helps the driver to stay in lane in strong, gusty conditions by using the Electronic Stability Control system to sense when the vehicle is being affected by crosswinds.

COMFORT & CONVENIENCE

FORD EASY-FUEL, FOR FOOLPROOF FILLING-UP

This useful technology makes it almost impossible to put the wrong fuel in your vehicle, because the wrong nozzle simply won’t fit. Even better, as Ford Easy-Fuel is a capless system, you’ll never have to handle a dirty fuel cap again.

SECURITY

REMOTE CONTROL CENTRAL LOCKING WITH ANTI-TAMPER DOOR LOCKS

The Transit Minibus has remote control central door locking. All locks are protected by anti-tamper shielding designed to help prevent them being broken by force. Drive-away locking will automatically lock all your vehicle’s doors as soon as you start to move off. The system is fitted as standard and you can switch it on or off via the instrument cluster. To aid assistance, vehicles are fitted with a crash unlock feature that’s automatically activated depending upon the severity of the crash.

PROTECTING AND SECURING YOUR TRANSIT MINIBUS

A Thatcham Category 1 alarm is a sophisticated system that automatically arms itself when you double-lock the vehicle and will sound a powerful alarm if triggered by forced entry, the vehicle being lifted, or if the motion sensors pick up any movement inside. The technology is also designed to help prevent unwanted towing of the vehicle.
