Does a point of sale being in receivership affect warranty?

Ford dealerships are independent franchises with their own operating procedures and management structures and as such Ford Motor Company has no direct control over their day-to-day operations. For this reason Ford Motor Company will not take over warranty agreements that were specific to the dealership that provided it.
