Why Have I not Received a Recall Letter?
There may be several reasons for not receiving a letter. These include:
- You may be a second or third owner of the vehicle, the previous owners may have received the letters some time ago.
- You may be a new owner of the vehicle and may not have been the registered keeper at the time of data requests.
- You may not be the registered keeper of the vehicle.
- Your vehicle may be owned by a fleet (for example, your vehicle may be leased).
- The Field Service Action (FSA) you are referring to may not be a safety or regulatory action where we use government supplied data. For non-safety or regulatory issues we use available original sales data.
