When does a Field Service Action (FSA) or recall close or expire?

If the FSA is safety related it will never close or expire if no action is taken. It will only close when the vehicle has been checked and repaired by a Ford Authorised Repairer.

Emissions or Compliance FSAs can vary depending on the issue to be fixed.

Other owner notified customer satisfaction actions (those with a B in the FSA title) generally expire after 5 years from launch, but this can also vary depending on the issue to be fixed. Your Ford Dealer will be able to inform you of any time limitations on the FSA.
