Checking Vehicle Hotspot Connection

The in-car Wi-Fi hotspot can be turned off or made invisible.

To check either, please go to the following in your in-vehicle infotainment system:

For Wi-Fi OFF:

• Home
• Settings
• SYNC Connect / FordPass Connect / Vehicle connectivity (this option may depend on your model)
• Vehicle Hotspot
• Check whether Vehicle Hotspot is enabled or not

For Wi-Fi invisible:

• Home
• Settings
• SYNC Connect / FordPass Connect / Vehicle connectivity (this option may depend on your model)
• Vehicle Hotspot
• Settings
• Edit
• Check whether Wi-Fi Visibility is enabled or not
