Why am I unable to download the FordPass®* App?

If you are unable to download FordPass to your device, it is likely due to one of the three reasons below:

Issue  Solution
Your device may not have enough storage space for the update/download.   We recommend freeing up space on your device. 
You may be experiencing network/internet connection issues.

Check your cellular strength and/or Wi-Fi connection.

  • Wi-Fi connection 
    • If Wi-Fi is turned off, turn Wi-Fi on and attempt to connect.
    • If Wi-Fi is turned on, turn Wi-Fi off and attempt to connect using cellular data.
  • Cellular connection 
    • If cellular data is turned off, turn cellular data on and attempt to connect.
    • If cellular data is turned on, turn cellular data off and attempt to connect using Wi-Fi.
Your device may need a power cycle.
  1. Power off your device for 30-60 seconds. 
  2. Turn on your device.
  3. Attempt to download FordPass.


If you are still unable to download FordPass, please reach out to your device's manufacturer for the best assistance.
