What is the difference between FordPass Connect™, FordPass™ and FordPass Pro?

FordPass Connect* is the hardware that enables data to transfer to and from your vehicle, and enables connectivity services. To use our connectivity services you must pair your vehicle with your smartphone and activate it using either the FordPass or FordPass Pro smartphone app.

FordPass** is an app that makes owning a vehicle easier than ever. It's designed for cars, and unlocks a range of features that let you interact with your vehicle in smart, connected ways. FordPass Pro is specifically designed for businesses that operate up to 5 connected vehicles. FordPass Pro offers a range of features that help you stay on top of vehicle health, security and productivity. Important details about the connectivity features of your vehicle are listed below:

• eCall, available on selected model lines, is free for the lifetime of the vehicle.
• FordPass Connect features: Remote Start***, Remote Lock and Unlock are offered free of charge for the first 10 years of vehicle ownership.
• Subscription features such as Live Traffic and Local Hazard Information are chargeable after a 12 months complimentary trial period.
• Vodafone is the data supplier for your FordPass Connect Wi-Fi Hotspot4*. Vodafone currently offer a 1 month or 1GB trial of Wi-Fi Hotspot. To buy additional Data Bundles, just log in with your online Vodafone account.
