Enable or Disable Local Hazard Information Setting

To access the Local Hazard feature with FordPass™:

• Your vehicle must have FordPass Connect™ embedded modem.
• Your vehicle must be added to the Home tab.
• Your vehicle must be activated.

To enable or disable the Local Hazard Information setting: 

1. Make sure your vehicle is on, running, and in park.
2. Press Settings on the bottom feature bar on the SYNC^® 3 touchscreen.
3. Select FordPass Connect.
4. Tap In-Vehicle. 
5. Select Connected Settings.
6. Toggle ON or OFF for the following:
   • Connected Settings
   • Location 
   • Vehicle Data and Remote Control 
   • Live Traffic
   • Local Hazard Information
