The Ford Pro Telematics Drive App is a companion app to the Ford Pro Telematics desktop. It can be used on Android and iOS devices. However, it requires a paid subscription to Ford Pro Telematics and is not available to Ford Telematics Essentials customers.
By providing you with a quick and simple way to get up-to-date, real-time information from your drivers about their vehicles, we can help maintain your fleet to the highest standards.
The app will enable your drivers to perform the following tasks:
- Driver to Vehicle Association. Select and share the details of the vehicle they are driving
- Daily Inspections. Complete a simple checklist to ensure that the vehicle is road-worthy
- Issue Reporting. Quickly and easily report vehicle issues so you can see them on the Ford Telematics desktop and take appropriate action.
- Remote lock/unlock for Drivers
- EV Range and State of Charge
- Fleet Manager Browse Vehicles
The Ford Telematics Drive app is a companion app to Ford Telematics™ and can be downloaded from either the App or Play Store for both Android and iOS devices.

What are the benefits of the app?
Fleet Managers:
- The fleet manager is supported by on-the-go visibility to the whole fleet and supports the fleet manager in ensuring the fleet is safe, legal, and efficient.
- Real-time information about which Driver is associated with a vehicle.
- Supports the transition to EVs.
- You can view Fleet Vehicle Health Overview via the app.
Drivers:
- Enables Drivers to submit an inspection report and raise any vehicle issues via the app.
- Drivers can lock and unlock their vehicles via the app.
- Improved functionality for Electric Vehicles, including Battery State of Charge and Range.
- View vehicle health, for example, tyre pressure.
How does it work?

- All data entered by the driver relating to the vehicle being used will be presented in the Ford Telematics™ desktop.
- A new tile in the Ford Telematics™ Dashboard will show you the status of daily driver checks.
- Vehicle issues will be shown on the vehicle health page of the desktop.
What about privacy?
The Ford Telematics Drive app will contain specific Terms and Conditions of use along with a privacy policy that is available via the Settings button.
What if I don't want my drivers to use the app?
If you don’t want your drivers to have use of the app, switch the toggle off on the Fleet Settings page of Ford Telematics™. Your drivers will then not be able to log into the app. Please note that new issues found by the driver will not be reported via the app, and you will no longer have visibility of which drivers have and have not completed their daily driver checks on the dashboard.
