In the FordPass®* App, you can go to your Charge Stations Settings to update the nickname associated with your Ford charge station.
Changing a Charger Nickname
To change your charger nickname, confirm your version of FordPass, and select your FordPass app version from the drop-down options below for steps.
FordPass 5.X Experience
To update your charger's nickname:
- Log in to the FordPass App.
- Go to the Energy screen.
- Select Charge Station.
- Tap Settings.
- Select Edit next to "Station Nickname".
- Enter your preferred station nickname and click Save.
A confirmation message will appear, along with the updated nickname at the top of the Your Charge Station screen.
FordPass 4.X Experience
To update your charger's nickname:
- Log in to the FordPass App.
- Go to the Account screen.
- Select Charge Station.
- Tap Settings.
- Select Edit next to "Station Nickname".
- Enter your preferred station nickname and click Save.
A confirmation message will appear, along with the updated nickname at the top of the Your Charge Station screen.
